Hello! I am an artist with Zapotec roots living in the Bay Area. My family is from a small pueblo in the Sierra Juárez mountains of Oaxaca. Many of my pieces include floral and plant motifs, as well as cultural themes and influences. This stems from the days with my grandma in her garden when I was little, and is influenced by the years I spent dancing Ballet Folklorico in high school. Painting was my first medium, and since them I’ve enjoyed exploring other mediums including printmaking and digital illustration.
